Tiza means 'stone that paints'

      "Tiza a mano" trademark began from the great interest for accessories and clothing with a unique style. "I wanted something different and started creating simple pieces with my own drawings on them." Little by lilttle the team has grown and the search for better pieces of cloth with better techiques had driven tiza into a much bigger range of products from women and kids clothing to jewlery; accessories like purses or scarfs and some other accesories for home like cushions. "Experimenting every day with new combinations of colors and materials in which I can imprint my designs, really fulls me with joy."

 

      It all goes back to 2003 when the name "tiza" made more sense. In nahuatl "tiza" means 'stone that paints' (white clay). Back then all designs were painted by hand and applied to different objects for decoration: hanging artwork and illustrations, handmade notebooks, painted boxes and different kinds of purses; but with time the variety has grown and the techniques have evolved. We started with a few, simple women shirts and now clothing is one of our strenghts thanks to the autenticity in cuts and style of every piece. Today, our objects are thought and created with love and care like the very first ones; the traces of our illustrations are handmade, nature inspires every design, the cloths are selected for its freshness, the styles are selected for its comfortness because we truly believe that femenin does not necesarily means not comfortable.

 

      Following the guideline of respecting the planet and our environment is fundamental for un in each and every process of our creation. Our goal is to have the minimum impact on it.

      Every piece that we label has our esence and represents each member of our team. From colaborators to administrators and all the people involved. We apreciate every hand in the process because we are aware that this carefull process is what makes the products special. We value fair commerse and as a result the quality is remarkable.
